Greg Hammond is a recognized charitable giving and financial educator, consultant, and speaker who provides behind the scenes assistance and second opinions on complex philanthropic plans to affluent individuals as well as board, staff and volunteer training sessions to nonprofit organizations. A cutting edge educator, lecturer and former guest speaker at the national Securities Service Network Conference in Seattle, WA, Greg delivers powerful, up-to-date presentations on charitable giving, True Wealth, minimizing taxes, preserving assets and increasing net worth. Frequently on WTIC News Talk 1080AM, Greg also co-hosted the radio show “Planning for Tomorrow” for three years.
Greg and his advisory group introduced The Donor Motivation Program™ to Connecticut – a cost effective turnkey solution that simplifies planned giving for nonprofit organizations, helping them capture the planned giving window of opportunity. The Donor Motivation presentation has been seen by over 10,000 people across America and consistently rated “the finest!” Thousands of CPAs, attorneys and financial professionals at tax conferences, national accounting firms, the Estate Planning Council, Bar Associations and others have benefitted from this presentation.
Greg has advised wealthy individuals and families for almost twenty years. As Planned Giving Strategies principal strategist, Greg and his Donor Motivation Program™ advisory group have saved individuals more than $750 million in estate and income taxes. Greg is a member of the InKnowVision Institute, a national consulting firm and the leader in the design and development of wealth transfer planning and income tax solutions for advisors who serve affluent families.
Some of Greg’s recent speaking engagements include the Planned Giving Group of Connecticut, the Charitable Leader’s Forum, and AFP CT Philanthropy Day. He is a member of The International Association of Advisors in Philanthropy, a forum of professional advisors who are dedicated and inspired to teach and empower individuals to effectively direct their philanthropic resources to transform communities around the world.
A graduate of Miami University where he earned his B.A. in accounting, Greg now lives in West Hartford, CT with his wife Karen and their two daughters. He continues to pursue extensive continuing education in financial strategies, planned giving and leadership.
